Shawn "Sports" Pawpp's Bio

Born: 1960

Dan Dryden, known to Fozzy fans as Shawn "Sports" Pawpp, joined the group after meeting the gang of Moongoose, KK, and Duke in the cafeteria line at school with his cousin, Chuck Berry (no relation). He had heard that they were looking for a couple more musicians to fill in the gaps and was confident that they could get in. Seeing as they had their own equipment and had decent talent, Moongoose decided to let them in.

During their trip in Japan, Shawn got a job at Yamamoto, a Japanese department store, cleaning the rails on escalators. By night, he was a towel boy at a bath house, which eventually became Fozzy's home for the next couple of years. This also explains their tremendous youthful looks at the age of 40.

"Sports" is always confident that everything will go in the right direction for them. When asked about whether or not the band was going to make it, he had this to say, "I have a lot of confidence in our talent. I'm sure we'll make it."

Shawn slappin' that bass!
