Born:1961 KK LaFlame, aka Bud Fonstere, gives Fozzy a unique dynamic with his amazing drumming skills. KK became a member of Fozzy after meeting Duke LaRue in Jazz Band at Art Chamsky High School (GO BEAVERS!).
During the Japan crisis, KK got a dream job working as a salesman at a cheese shop. Seeing that he loves cheese, he was a natural. This is also where he developed his signiture drumstick twirling. During his presentation to customers, he had to roll a block of cheese with one hand. To practice, he rolled anything he could get his hands on, including his drum sticks. Years later, the KK roll, as some call it, was born.
When asked about what his favorite cheese was, he said, "Well there are so many, White stilton, Danish Blue, Brue, Bris...but my favorite would have to be Venezualan Beaver Cheese (GO BEAVERS!). |
